Our approach
An injury claim is a negotiation with a company whose business is paying as little as it can. You should not have to face that alone, and you should never be just a file number.
A personal injury practice built around the client
Olympic Personal Injury and Accident Law, APC represents people across Los Angeles and California who were injured in car accidents, truck and motorcycle crashes, rideshare and delivery collisions, pedestrian and bicycle accidents, slip-and-falls, dog bites, and wrongful death cases. The firm handles every stage of the claim: investigating what happened, identifying every insurance policy that may apply, coordinating the record of your treatment, negotiating with the insurance company, and, when a fair offer does not come, filing suit and taking the case forward.
While the firm works on the claim, you focus on getting better. The attorney handles the calls from the adjuster, the paperwork, the deadlines, and the medical liens so that the process does not become a second job on top of your recovery.
What sets this firm apart
You work directly with your attorney. Many injury firms run hundreds of files at a time, handled mostly by case managers, with a lawyer stepping in only near settlement. Here the caseload is kept small on purpose, so the attorney personally reviews your records, personally negotiates with the adjuster, and personally returns your calls.
Every case is prepared as if it will be tried. Insurance companies pay attention to files that are ready for a courtroom. Photos, witnesses, police reports, and medical records are gathered while they still exist and assembled into a record that a claims examiner or defense lawyer cannot easily pick apart. That preparation is what makes a settlement offer real, and when a case needs a courtroom, it gets one.
Every policy is read, not just the obvious one. Policy limits, exclusions, uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage, medical-payments coverage, and umbrella policies define the money actually available in an injury case. The firm reads that language closely so that coverage the carrier never volunteered gets reached.
Honest advice, starting with the first call. The consultation is free, and it is a straight read on the claim, including whether you need a lawyer at all. If the honest answer is that you can handle a claim on your own, you will hear that.
“The insurance company has a team working its side of your claim from day one. You deserve someone whose only job is your side of it.”
Rooted in Los Angeles
The firm is based in Beverly Hills and represents injured people throughout Los Angeles County and the State of California. The freeways, hospitals, and courthouses that appear in our clients' cases are local ones, and the firm serves clients and their families in both English and Spanish.
How the firm is run
Most cases resolve before a lawsuit is filed, and every one is prepared as if it will be tried. The fee is a percentage of the recovery, there is no attorney fee if there is no recovery, and all of it is written down before any work begins. Medical liens are negotiated before any money is distributed, and you see every line of the settlement statement before you sign it.
This is a newer firm, and it would rather say so than pretend otherwise. What it offers is a lawyer giving your case full attention from the first message to the last check, and telling you the truth about it at every step.
How your case is handled
One attorney, from the first call to the last check.
The same lawyer who reviews your claim on day one is the one who negotiates it, and the one who explains every number before you sign anything.
A free, honest case review
You tell the attorney what happened and get a straight read on the claim, including whether you need a lawyer at all, and what the next 30 days should look like.
Evidence, records, and coverage
Photos, witnesses, police and medical records are gathered while they still exist. Every applicable insurance policy is identified, including the ones the carrier did not mention.
A demand built for trial
Once treatment is understood, the file is assembled the way defense counsel would attack it, then presented. The attorney negotiates with the adjuster personally.
Resolution on your terms
Medical liens are negotiated down before distribution, you see every line of the settlement statement, and if the offer is not fair, the case is filed.
What to expect when you call
The things most firms leave for the fine print.
You talk to the attorney
Not an intake specialist, not a case manager. The attorney takes the first call and every one after it.
An answer within a business day
Messages sent through this site are reviewed personally, usually the same day.
No attorney fee unless you recover
Contingency fee, in writing, before any work begins. Case costs are separate and are explained in the same agreement.
English and Spanish
Clients and family members can speak with the attorney directly in either language. Se habla español.
Questions people ask before they call
About working with the attorney.
What makes this firm different from a high-volume injury firm?
Many personal injury firms run hundreds of files at a time, handled mostly by case managers, with a lawyer stepping in only near settlement. Olympic Personal Injury and Accident Law, APC keeps its caseload small on purpose so the attorney can personally review your records, personally negotiate with the insurance company, and personally return your calls.
Will I actually work with the attorney, or with a case manager?
With the attorney. The lawyer you speak with on the first call is the lawyer who handles your claim from start to finish. There is no case manager between you and your attorney.
What does it cost to hire the firm?
Nothing up front. Personal injury cases are handled on a contingency fee: the fee is a percentage of the recovery, and there is no attorney fee if there is no recovery. Case costs are separate from the fee, are advanced by the firm, and are explained in the written fee agreement before any work begins. The exact percentages are in the firm FAQ.
Do I need a lawyer, or can I handle the claim myself?
Sometimes you can. The first call is a free, honest read on the claim, and if the truth is that you do not need a lawyer, the attorney will tell you so. Generally, once there is a real injury, ongoing treatment, or a dispute about fault, having counsel changes how the insurance company values the file.
What happens if my case has to go to trial?
Most personal injury cases resolve before a lawsuit is filed, but every case at the firm is prepared as if it will be tried, because that preparation is what makes a settlement offer real. When a case needs a courtroom, it gets one.
No cost, no obligation
